Fractal Behaviour Analysis
نویسنده
چکیده
A fundamental problem of AI is that of how to simulate a particular kind of behaviour – that of intelligence. This paper describes an alternative approach to reproducing action systems by a geometric analysis of behaviour. If the behaviour to be reproduced has a particular character, a character identified by a self-affinity like that of fractal images, it may be possible to infer a program capable of generating that behaviour. This fractal behaviour is described and its study justified with reference to other examples of a fractal character to behaviour. The paper shows how this kind of analysis can be applied to a simple system, the ‘Towers of Hanoi’, and shows how it is possible to infer a program from a solution. Possibilities for generalising and applying the approach are discussed.

Chaotic Analysis and Prediction of River Flows
Analyses and investigations on river flow behavior are major issues in design, operation and studies related to water engineering. Thus, recently the application of chaos theory and new techniques, such as chaos theory, has been considered in hydrology and water resources due to relevant innovations and ability. This paper compares the performance of chaos theory with Anfis model and discusses ...
متن کاملIdentification of active tectonic areas using fractal analysis (box counting) of earthquakes, lines and waterways of Alborz province
Fractal analysis of earthquakes, lineages and waterways are considered as one of the practical tools to evaluate tectonic activity. With the help of fractal analysis, structural maturity and tectonic dynamics can be evaluated. In this research, using fractal analysis and box counting method and fild studies, the measured fractal dimensions for the designed network of Alborz province were studie...
متن کاملFractal Behaviour of Heart Rate Variability Reflects Severity in Stroke Patients
Non-linear parameters obtained from heart rate variability (HRV) analysis has recently been recognized to provide valuable information for physiological interpretation of heart rate fluctuation. Among the numerous non-linear parameters related to the fractal behaviour of the HRV signal, two classes have gained wide interest in the last years: the beta exponent based on the 1/f-like relationship...
متن کاملNon-Linear Dynamics In Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris
Dynamic analysis techniques may quantify abnormalities in heart rate behaviour based on non-linear and fractal analysis. The applicability of these new methods for detecting complex heart rate dynamics in coronary heart disease is not well established. To investigate the clinical and prognostic significance of fractal dimension and detrended fluctuation analysis, two different groups were studie...
